Newspapers often keep a calendar of events that is very accessible. Some other web sites that have really good dynamic events calendars that you can borrow from are radio station web sites. They usually are on the tip of what's going on around town.

The Chamber of Commerce web site is also a very smart place to look for events. Events like networking and social events, where there's a large group, are always a plus. Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with hosting your daily specials or evening happy hour times, a drink special for each day of the week, or soup of the day.
